Jennifer Tuma-Young and Terry Grahl will teach “The Present” workshop at The Creative Connection Event held at The Crown Plaza in St. Paul, Minnesota. The event is hosted by Creative Connection, BlogHer, Vogue Knitting, and Mary Janes Farm.

About the Workshop

This gift of “The Present” is about sharing a piece of yourself & your story with another woman. During this class hosted by the non-profit organization Enchanted Makeovers at The Creative Connection Event, each participant will create their own special & unique handmade items and a handwritten letter that will be placed in a polka dot box provided by Enchanted Makeovers. The boxes will be given to a local shelter for women. This workshop is designed to empower both the giver & receiver to tap into the present- the gift we receive every moment of every day. The opportunity to breathe life into our future however we choose.

About Creative Connection

Nancy Soriano and Jo Packham of Where Women Create find creative women and women entrepreneurs even more exciting today than when they first met seven years ago. Nancy, then editor of Country Living, and Jo, owner and president of Chapelle, Ltd., quickly saw in each other a kindred creative and enterprising spirit (could it be because both are Leos?). Their friendship and professional association developed out of a mutually-felt intuition that creative women need one another in order to grow, to be inspired, and to follow their dreams. Nancy and Jo are passionate, each one in her own way, about bringing creative women together. Their vision of what that community might look like, coupled with a can-do attitude and oodles of business know-how, is the driving force beyond THE CREATIVE CONNECTION. As they are discovering on this newest joint venture, there are no limits when you follow your bliss.
