So, about 5 years ago, my brother Rich trekked a team of us to Ohio for the Arnold Classic. We had a booth at the show for his company, Revolutionary Technology Nutrition.
Rich has always been an incredible inspiration to me and thousands of others on the quest to being healthy. He not only was named Mr. Fitness, but he is a renowned trainer, has numerous certifications in nutrition, fitness, massage therapy, and started his supplement company to provide his clients with natural alternatives to many of the sacchrin-laden, aspartame-filled protein drinks that were on the market. Yes, he really is this fantastic, and a short blog post won’t do him justice (so check out his website and you’ll see why I admire my brother so darn much!!).
Well, at that trade show 5 years ago, on the plane we met a representative from The Vitamin Shoppe. Rich knew he wanted to get his products in that store- it was his vision to grow the company beyond serving his clients in the gym to serving the nation through being available in retail outlets.
Well, Rich’s vision and ‘big dream’ is a reality. His protein drinks are available online The Vitamin Shoppe and the in stores around the country.
So, today take a 5 minute break to connect with your vision, your dream. Think, as Rich does, about how you can contribute to the world with your unique talents and gifts. Give your thoughts power by speaking them aloud, share your dream with others. Write it down, and most importantly, believe in it. Have faith. Oh, and, while you’re at it, whip up a protein shake.
