It felt like I was watching a movie- it couldn’t really be happening. Houses swimming, ships crumbling into bridges that were uprooted- my eyes filled with tears as I saw a mother holding her child tightly surrounded by ruins. The world has been in prayer together since Friday when news broke about the tsunami.
Tonight, we talked to Lu and Little Man about it, a little bit. Of course, they didn’t fully understand, but I wanted to hold their tiny hands, and take a moment to be still with them. When words escape me, I turn to music and prayer…this is for all the people of Japan, relatives who do not know how to find loved ones, and the strong, inspiring people who listened to their calling and went to help.
