I can’t believe my LuLu is in pre-school. Where does the time go? As Gretchen Rubin so eloquently stated in her book, The Happiness Project, “The days are long, but the years are short.” That quote sticks with me because it’s so true. You blink and another year has passed.
I love quotes, anything to bring a bit of light and inspiration into the “long days” and busy schedules. So, you can imagine when I took Lu to Michael’s Crafts for a school supply trip, how excited I was to find this amazing notebook. On the opening page it says:
“The only requirement of having a dream is believing in it.” ~Molly Baker
When I came home, intrigued by such a cute, stylish, and positive design (see you can have style from the inside-out!), I went to their website, and found out that every year Carolina Pad teams up with non-profits to raise funds and awareness for worthy causes.
This notebook is from the Dreamsicle Collection. Carolina Pad teamed up with Jackie McFee (JACK!E) and Girls on the Run International to launch this line. “The GOTR after-school curriculum-based program inspires more than 50,000 girls a year to celebrate their bodies, honor their voices, and embrace their gifts in more than 150 cities across North America.”
Wow, all I can say is “thank you” for inspiring our children.
