On Friday, after watching the coverage of the horrific events in Connecticut, I had no words. I couldn’t stop crying. And then, this message popped into my heart…
Allow your heart to break – it is not a sign of weakness or a lack of faith in God. On the contrary, when we see ourselves in others, and experience each others pain and joy fully, we are connected as humanity. It is when hearts are split wide open that God’s light and peace fills us up and gives us strength, and we realize our purpose is to simply love one another as He loves us.
God, may you bless the 27 angels who are with you in heaven, and bring peace into the hearts of all grieving here on earth.
